We get a lot of inquiries from folks asking how they can help support the show. Here is a list of things you can do if you'd like to help keep the digital hamsters running around here.
Submit a Review:
This is probably the easiest thing to do (and the free-est). If you like the show, why not submit a rating/review on the various places where the show is posted (e.g. iTunes, Stitcher). Ratings and review help other folks know that Horizontal Transfer is a good use of time, and they are also used by various site algorithms to help determine if the show should be featured.
Become a Patreon Patron:
Are you a serious Vector? Is this podcast worth $1 an episode to you (or more)? If so, consider becoming a Patron on Patreon. Bonus: You'll get cool perks.
Buy Things Through an Affiliate Link:
All of the links on our site to products go to Amazon. Clicking one of these links from the site identifies your traffic as coming from Horizontal Transfer. Anything you buy from Amazon within a 24-hour period, gives the show a small commission on the sales (it doesn't have to be the item that is linked to). This doesn't impact your purchasing in any way, and sends us some money, to boot.
If you are looking for a link to click, you can always just click this button:
Sponsor an Episode
You may notice that some episodes are sponsored by real organizations/companies. Sponsorship is a great way to support the show if you have a message/product that you'd like more folks to know about. Contact us to discuss sponsorship possibilities.
